Our story

Before opening Shromantic Garden, we traveled through more than 60 countries — even living in the Caribbean for a while. But when we arrived in Georgia, we knew we had found something special. After three years of exploring its diverse nature and peaceful villages, we decided to settle in Shroma, Guria.

With the help of volunteers from around the world, we restored an old village house into a cozy guesthouse that brings together nature, comfort, and community. Shromantic Garden is now a place where modern travelers can slow down, breathe deeply, and enjoy the charm of slow village life.

Each room is thoughtfully designed with traditional shushabandi terraces, private bathrooms, forest or sunset views, and modern comforts. We cook and serve fresh vegetarian meals every day, and the garden offers quiet spaces for reading, daydreaming, or simply doing nothing at all.

And yes, this is also home to our 10 cats and 4 friendly dogs — they’re part of the family and love meeting new guests.

Whether you're here to unwind, explore, or simply enjoy a different rhythm of life, Shromantic Garden is your place to pause.
